Formats and length

Grand rounds and conference sessions. 30 to 60 minutes plus Q&A, in person or virtual. Tell us the slot you have and the talk is cut to it.
Departmental retreats and workshops. Longer, more interactive, built around what your group is actually trying to decide.
Podcasts, panels and webinars. Guest appearances on clinical, health-technology and practice-management shows. Remote is fine, no minimum audience, and there is no fee for a podcast — a good conversation is worth more than an honorarium. Send the show and a couple of dates.

Audience, travel and booking

Audience: surgical departments, residency and fellowship programs, conference sessions, hospital leadership retreats, multidisciplinary groups, and podcast listeners who are mostly clinicians. The material is adjusted to who is in the room.
Materials: slides are provided afterwards, and references are cited on the slides rather than promised in a follow-up email.
CME: we do not provide accreditation, but we will supply objectives, a disclosure statement and an outline in whatever format your CME office needs.
Scheduling: the constraint is a live clinical practice, so the more notice the better — but a podcast recording can usually be found a slot quickly.

Booking

Tell us the date, the audience and the format on the intake form — or just the name of the show. We reply within two business days. Paid speaking engagements are scoped and quoted individually from a written proposal, under Schedule F of the services agreement; speaking is not a data processing service and is not subject to Texas sales tax.
